It is announced that John and Yoko are recording a record about their lives and Yoko's miscarriage, up until their honeymoon in Amsterdam.

The Beatles’ first official live album, The Beatles At The Hollywood Bowl, was released in the UK on 6 May 1977. It had been issued in the USA two days previously.

2011: Paul McCartney is to marry Nancy Shevell.

Paul is engaged to be married to Nancy Shevell, a spokesman has confirmed.

McCartney, 68, recently proposed to Shevell, 51. The couple have been together since November 2007.
