Paul McCartney is to make a cameo appearance in the new Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em sketch for Sport Relief.
Paul
will be seen in the revival of the hit sitcom as an everyday pop legend
taking a stroll in the park and talking on his phone.
He is the latest in a raft of big names who have agreed to appear in the sketch, which stars Michael Crawford as hapless Frank Spencer and Michele Dotrice as his long-suffering wife Betty.
It
has also emerged that actress Bond girl Gemma Arterton – currently
appearing alongside Dotrice in a West End play – will take the role of
the Spencers’ grown-up daughter Jessica.
