Back in 1963, a young Liz McBrierty (now Elizabeth Salt) found herself face-to-face with John, Paul, George, and Ringo following one of their live performances.
A devoted fan, Elizabeth managed to secure the signatures of all four band members in her autograph book—a prize made even more special by the addition of a broken guitar string gifted by George Harrison.
This encounter was just one of many for the teenager during the height of British Beatlemania.
Her collection serves as a vibrant time capsule of the UK’s most iconic pop culture era, featuring not only the Beatles but also legends like the Rolling Stones, Cliff Richard, and Del Shannon.
This historic assembly of memorabilia is now set for sale at The Lichfield Auction Centre, where it will be offered as Lot 742 by Richard Winterton Auctioneers on Monday, February 2.
