PAUL McCARTNEY AND NANCY ATTENDED A HEAVY METAL CONCERT

Paul McCartney and his wife, Nancy Shevell attendeded a heavy metal concert. They were photographed at an intimate Metallica performance at Stephen Talkhouse in Amagansett, New York.

Paul and Nancy were among the 250 attendees for the exclusive concert, which was hosted by SiriusXM to commemorate the launch of their new channel, Maximum Metallica.

The couple was pictured outside the venue, which drew a large number of celebrities. 

Among those also in attendance were Michael J. Fox, Sylvester Stallone, Andy Cohen, and Ed Burns.

Formed in 1981, Metallica's current lineup includes James Hetfield on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Kirk Hammett on lead guitar and backing vocals, Robert Trujillo on bass and backing vocals, and Lars Ulrich on drums. 

 

The band is on tour supporting their 2023 album, 72 Seasons, which critics have celebrated as a return to their complex 1980s thrash-metal sound. 

 

This marks a shift from their '90s material, which received mixed reviews.
