Heritage Auctions in
Dallas has its hands on a very rare copy of “My Bonnie,”recorded by Tony Sheridan and The Beat Brothers.It will
be sold in Dallas next week at Heritage’s music memorabilia auction.
This is one of the most valuable 45s around,
the black-label American release on Decca
Brian Epstein, the Liverpool record store owner who managed the
Beatles, claimed that he first heard of the band when a customer came
into his store and asked for a copy of the single “My Bonnie”.It should fetch more than $30,000.
