Paul has announced plans for a lengthy world tour for later this year.
Dubbed the ‘Out There!’ tour, the trek will find Paul and his band changing things up a bit:
The tour will see Paul and his band travel the world throughout the year, even visiting some places they’ve never been before.
The first two dates announced are Warsaw, Poland on June 22nd (Paul’s
first-ever gig in Poland) and Vienna, Austria on June 27th, with more
expected to be announced shortly.
More about the tour, from McCartney’s official site:
The ‘Out There!’ tour will feature music from one of the best loved catalogues in popular music. Paul will perform songs that span his entire career – as a solo artist, member of Wings and of course as a Beatle.
With this announcement came word that he’s also working on a new studio album – which will be his first since 2010′s Kisses on the Bottom and presumably his first of all original material since 2007′s Memory Almost Full. Stay tuned, it sounds like Paul will have a busy 2013…
