BEATLES MEMORABILIA AT THE PENNY LANE MUSEUM

Penny Lane Beatles Museum, created by long-time Dunedin resident and humanitarian Dr. Robert Entel, is set to embark on a new chapter as it relocates to the iconic Palais Royale Offices (146 Second St. N.) in 2026.

Originally founded in January 2017 as a nonprofit, the museum has become a must-see destination for The Beatles enthusiasts. It’s currently located at 730 Broadway, 2nd Floor, at Stirling Commons in downtown Dunedin. Known for its extensive and eclectic collection of Beatles memorabilia, the museum has attracted visitors from Tampa Bay, across the country and around the world.
The museum’s collection is truly one of a kind, featuring extremely rare and highly collectible mementos such as signed guitars, strands of the Beatles’ hair, Yellow Submarine paraphernalia, Beatles puppets, pins and even a serape once owned by Ringo Starr.

Co-founded by Colin Bissett—who grew up in Liverpool—the museum is steeped in authentic Beatles history. Bissett himself attended early performances by the Fab Four at the Cavern Club and the Casbah, long before the band’s meteoric rise to global fame.

The relocation to the Palais Royale Offices marks an exciting new phase for the museum. The new venue will provide expanded space to showcase this extraordinary collection and offer more immersive experiences for visitors. With its prime location in St. Petersburg and close proximity to other cultural landmarks and museums, Penny Lane’s move is poised to enhance its appeal—and that of the city—cementing its status as a cultural cornerstone.
