Stars of upcoming Beatles biopics recreate iconic Abbey Road cover.
Fifty-seven years after the "Fab Four" posed on London's famous crosswalk, the actors set to portray them in Sam Mendes' biopic series recreated the iconic crossing.
Paul Mescal (Paul McCartney), Harris Dickinson (John Lennon), Barry Keoghan (Ringo Starr), and Joseph Quinn (George Harrison) appeared in period-accurate attire to recreate the legendary Abbey Road album cover.
Director Sam Mendes, alongside Sony Pictures and Neal Street Productions, leads The Beatles – A Four-Film Cinematic Event. First announced in 2024 and with its cast confirmed in March 2025, the project consists of four interconnected biopics—each telling the band’s story from the unique perspective of a different member.
Mendes described the year-long shoot as the world's first "bingeable theatrical experience," fulfilling his dream of bringing the group's journey to the big screen, which is scheduled to premiere in theaters in April 2028.
