San Francisco Art Exchange LLC first introduced Pattie Boyd’s autographed, limited-edition prints to the public in the early 2000s. Following years of enthusiastic support from the art community, she fully embraced her role as a photographer. In 2005, we premiered her debut exhibition, Through the Eyes of a Muse, which garnered international acclaim and sparked a massive media frenzy. This milestone eventually led her to pen her autobiography. Since then, her photography has toured the globe, with showcases in major cities from London and New York to Sydney and Almaty.
Born in Somerset, England, Patricia Anne “Pattie” Boyd is a celebrated model, author, and photographer widely recognized as “Rock ’n’ Roll’s Greatest Muse.” Her profound influence on music history is immortalized in iconic love songs such as "Something," "Layla," and "Wonderful Tonight," among many others inspired by her relationships with her former husbands, George Harrison and Eric Clapton. Boyd’s professional journey began in the London fashion scene of 1962, where she rose to prominence as a top model appearing on the cover of Vogue and leading major advertising campaigns. Her entry into the world of film came in 1964 when she was cast in the Beatles’ debut movie, A Hard Day’s Night—the pivotal project where she first met Harrison—and she soon expanded her reach into journalism by penning the "Letters from London" advice column for 16 Magazine.
Following her marriage to Harrison in 1966, the intense public scrutiny of being a "Beatle wife" led her to pivot toward photography. This transition allowed her to document her private world, resulting in historic images of her inner circle, including the Beatles' transformative 1968 retreat to Rishikesh, India. She maintained this visual diary throughout her subsequent marriage to Clapton, building an extraordinary archive of candid, intimate portraits featuring some of the most influential figures in music history. In the years since, Boyd has established herself as an accomplished travel photographer and has been honored as a member with distinction of the Royal Photographic Society.
