Ozzy Osbourne´s admiration for Paul McCartney and The Beatles
Ozzy Osbourne has often expressed his admiration for Paul McCartney and The Beatles, even stating that meeting McCartney was like "meeting Jesus Christ."
Despite his profound respect, Ozzy revealed that he was unable to secure a musical collaboration with McCartney, who declined an invitation to record on one of his songs.
Ozzy is a well-known fan of The Beatles and has mentioned that the song "She Loves You" was one of the main reasons he decided to pursue a career in music.
In 2001, Ozzy had the opportunity to meet Paul McCartney, an encounter he described as very special and significant.
Ozzy tried to get Paul to play bass on his song "Dreamer" in 2001. However, according to Rockaxis and the Daily Mail, McCartney felt that Robert Trujillo's original bassline was too good to be replaced.
