The documentary features interviews with key figures in Lennon's history, such as Tony Bramwell (CEO of Apple Records), Earl Slick (guitarist), Vinny Appice (drummer), and Henry 'The Horse' Smith (1981 tour manager).
It also includes historical testimonies from John Lennon, Yoko Ono, and Paul McCartney, and seeks to "set the record straight about the truth behind many famous moments in his life."
The film follows Lennon's journey from his debut solo album John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band (1970) to his tragic death in 1980.
During those years, John released anthems such as "Power to the People," "Imagine," and "Happy Xmas (War Is Over)," in addition to facing an intense legal battle with the Richard Nixon administration, which attempted to deport him.
