Paul did a Q&A with 30 competition winners, who asked him 15 questions across 25 minutes, in a conversation moderated by journalist Sean Sennett.
Then followed a six-song, 25-minute set reprising material the band had rehearsed behind closed doors, before the fans entered.
All phones were cloaked at the door, and the only ones aware of the timing/location of this event were the competition winners and select members of the media.
