In a tweet from The Beatles’ official account, “Have you ever made the pilgrimage to @AbbeyRoad‘s crossing & captured the moment? @Venture_land are looking for the best crossing selfies photos & videos through the ages to be included in a feature documentary on Abbey Road. Email yours in to abbey.road@venture.land.”

This Abbey Road documentary was first reported on back in January 2021. The film is titled If These Walls Could Sing, and it’s being directed by Mary McCartney.

The film is a joint effort by Universal Music Group’s Mercury Studios and Ventureland producer John Battsek.

It’s also the first time an official documentary has been made about the legendary studio.

Mary McCartney said in a statement, “Some of my earliest memories as a young child come from time spent at Abbey Road. I’ve long wanted to tell the story of this historic place and I couldn’t be collaborating with a better team than John and Mercury Studios to make this creative ambition a reality.”
