PAUL MCCARTNEY SENT A MESSAGE OF LOVE AND SUPPORT TO THE UKRAINIANS

Paul McCartney made reference on his social networks to russian invasion in ukraine: assured “to be thinking of the Ukrainians in these difficult times”. “We send you our love and support”he claimed.


The artist (and also activist) recalled on Twitter the concert he gave in Kiev in 2008 at Independence Square. 

What’s more, invited to collaborate with Unicef, Save the Children and the British Red Cross. 

As the world turns its eyes on Ukraine, Paul retrieved footage from the free show called Independence Concert. 

In the video you can see the interpretation of “Give Peace a Chance”, de John Lennon. that recital was held outdoors on June 14, 2008before some 350 thousand people.

In addition, the event was broadcast on giant screens in many of the largest cities in the country. 

The chronicles of the moment describe a torrential rain that same day. It is estimated that more than 10 million people saw that presentation.
