CRAIG CAR STEREOS SPONSORED A CONTEST "WIN RINGO´S CAR" IN 1978

Craig car stereos sponsored a contest ‘Win Ringo’s Car Sweepstakes.’ The ads featured Ringo with the car and ran in Hot Rod, Motor Trend and many teen magazines. 

Ringo liked the car so much he wanted one for himself too. When it was all done, Hemmings Motors built him a convertible ’57: the Craig ’57 [hardtop sport coupe] like a street machine, with a shaved hood, tube grille, lake pipes, Western wheels, and a multi-color flame job over black enamel. It was powered by a Corvette 350 engine and a four-speed.
