Ringo made a special encore guest appearance, playing drums with Joe Walsh and his band on the 1973 classic rock hit Rocky Mountain Way at The Forum, May 20, 2016.
The song Rocky Mountain Way was originally released on the Joe Walsh album The Smoker You Drink, the Player You Get. Joe Walsh concert ends with finale All Night Long. Included on the 1980 movie soundtrack album Urban Cowboy, All Night Long was a Top 20 hit for Joe Walsh and one of his highest charting singles.
Joe Walsh and Ringo Starr both participated on the 2014 GRAMMY Awards in Los Angeles, the last show they appeared together on.
