This September, London's National Portrait Gallery will be unveiling the new prints in Ringo Starr's PHOTOGRAPH Portfolio. Hot off the press, the first copies of Ringo's new PHOTOGRAPH Open Edition
will also be on display. Each book sale will benefit Ringo's charitable
Lotus Foundation. And, with a back page detailing the story behind the
creation of his book, proud owners of Ringo's original signed limited edition should expect to see their copies become more sought after than ever.
If you are yet to add
one of Ringo's framed prints to your collection, now may be the time to
do so. Select 'Pay In Stages' when you checkout online to reserve your
copy number with a 30% deposit.
Ringo unveils eight new signed portraits of his Beatles bandmates in the PHOTOGRAPH Portfolio 2015.
He shows many moments of quiet reflection; recording in the studio; Merseybeat meetings; a seventies self-portrait and The Beatles in India, and more. 50 years ago, Ringo shot on both black-and-white and vibrant colour films, and experimented with psychedelic fish-eye lens effects. Reproduced from the negative for the first time as large-format, museum-quality prints, only 25 numbered copies will be created worldwide. Each proof is checked and each artwork signed by Ringo.
