BEATLES ON THE MENU IN DEDHAM, ENGLAND

A LUNCH menu signed by the Beatles when they dined at Le Talbooth is set to go under the hammer.
The band visited the Dedham restaurant in 1963, where they posed for photos with the chefs and signed autographs.

The lot includes several photographs, including a picture showing John and Ringo trying on chef hats, and the signed menu.
One side of the menu has all four autographs, while the reverse lists the lunch options including potted shrimp and smoked salmon.
The lot is expected to sell for between £200 and £300 when it is auctioned at Reeman Dansie, on Colchester’s Severalls Industrial Estate on Wednesday.
The auction house’s collectable specialist, Michael Bowles, said: “I imagine they will be popular because it’s a little bit of local history.
“The autographs on their own are nice, but because it’s Le Talbooth and has the photos, it is a lovely lot.
“We’re really pleased to have it.”
The photos are black and white and the auctioneers believe they are copies.
