HAMILTON GETS A VISIT FROM MUSIC ROYALTY PAUL

The Public Theater's production of Hamilton continues to attract celebrity guest appearances, the latest being Paul McCartney of Beatles fame. The show's creator and star, Lin-Manuel Miranda tweeted a picture of he and McCartney backstage on March 4.




  

Hamilton, which features a book, music and lyrics by Miranda. will transfer to Broadway, beginning previews July 13 at the Richard Rodgers Theatre, with an official opening night scheduled for Aug. 6.  

Hamilton began Off-Broadway previews Jan. 20 and opened to critical acclaim Feb. 17.The new musical reunites the award-winning In the Heights team. Tony nominee Thomas Kail is at the helm, with choreography from Tony Award winner Andy Blankenbuehler.
