Paul played his first ever gig at Estádio Kléber Andrade in Vitória, Cariacica, Brazil.

Paul and his band performed in Cariacica, in the first show of his Out There tour in Brazil.

Paul's band was Brian Ray (vocals, guitar and bass), Rusty Anderson (vocals and guitar), Paul 'Wix' Wickens (vocals, keyboards, guitar, percussion, harmonica),  and Abe Laboriel Jr (vocals and drums).

All tickets for the concert sold out, with 34,000 people in attendance. The tour is to include dates in Rio de Janeiro, Brasilia, Sao Paulo.

He spoke several phrases in Portuguese: “Boa noite, capixabas”,"É mara estar de volta ao Brasil. Boa noite, Vitória, boa noite, capixabas".
