One fan who splurged on front row seats for the concert said it was an early 50th birthday present for himself. He said there's a special reason he chose to pay the high price tag.
"I'm actually looking forward to the sound check because that's when he gets a chance to play some stuff he doesn't normally play," the fan said. "And from what I understand, as opposed to just getting up there and making sure the guitars are right, (saying) 'Check, check check' and that sort of business, he'll actually play a small concert for us."
The price tag for that experience is a whopping $2,000.
At last check, some less expensive tickets for the concert were still available.
