A HARD DAY´S NIGHT HAS BEEN DIGITALLY REMASTERED TO MARK ITS 50th ANNIVERSARY

The Beatles' first feature film A Hard Day's Night has been digitally remastered
A new trailer for the restored Beatles film A Hard Day's Night has been posted online.
The 1964 film has been digitally remastered to mark the 50th anniversary of its release.
A restoration team from the Criterion Collection worked on the film, and the soundtrack was remixed at the iconic Abbey Road Studios in London.
The Beatles' first feature film, A Hard Day's Night stars all four Beatles (John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr) as exaggerated versions of themselves, presenting a light-hearted look at their daily lives as they travelled from Liverpool to London.

The soundtrack features eight Beatles songs. The film grossed $12million on its original release, and won two Oscars for Best Original Screenplay and Best Score.

Rolling Stone magazine placed its soundtrack, the first album to include songs exclusively written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney, at number four on their 25 Greatest Movie Soundtracks of All Time.
The remastered version of A Hard Day's Night will be premiered in London on July 4, the film's 50th anniversary. It will also be shown in 50 cities across the USA.
