Paul McCartney arrived in Lima at a little more than 3:00 am this morning. His trip had already been planned after finishing his second and last show in Santiago de Chile last night. He arrived at Jorge Chávez International Airport and immediately went to the hotel, without being seen directly by the fans who were there at that time.
This will be his second time performing in Peru. The National Stadium is already almost completely ready for the event.
Paul and his band will perform tomorrow, Friday, at 20:00 hours at the National Stadium, which will have a new laser lighting system, pyrotechnics, and special effects brought by Paul's production.
For the day of the concert, the police have deployed 400 officers, who will be patrolling the stadium's surroundings and placing a security ring 100 meters around the venue to verify that attendees have their tickets.
Paul, Nancy, and the band are staying at a distinguished hotel in the Miraflores district.
