Paul and Dave Grohl decided
against joining the Oscars' festivities to enjoy an evening out with
their wives at a vegan restaurant on Melrose Avenue.
With Nancy Shevell and pregnant Jordyn Blum on their arms, the musicians no doubt took a chance to celebrate (again) their Grammy win for Best Rock Song.
Paul
had flown into Los Angeles after attending the NME Awards in London
where he was honoured with the Songwriters’ Songwriter gong.
In his speech, The Beatles legend revealed how he used to make up stories to put in the magazine while in the band:Paul said: ‘One of the things we used to like to try and do was to plant a false story in the NME. We actually got in with 'George was Billy Fury's cousin', which he wasn't. Living on the edge, man.’
Paul landed at LAX on Friday from London having attended the NME Awards
The two couples dined at
Crossroads vegan restaurant of course, because Paul is staunchly
against eating animals or their by-products, but that must have been a
concession for Dave who is most definitely not.
