Beatles star will 'have a conversation' with late pal.
Paul has said that his deceased former bandmate John often helps him to write songs. He said that he will "have a conversation" with his late pal whenever he is unsure about one of his new creations. 
Paul has recently impacted the UK charts with his latest solo album New, and told Rolling Stone: "If I'm at a point where I go, 'I'm not sure about this', I'll throw it across the room to John. He'll say, 'You can't go there, man'. And I'll say, 'You're quite right. How about this?' 'Yeah, that's better'.
"We'll have a conversation. I don't want to lose that."
He also gave his thoughts on John´s murderer, Mark David Chapman - saying that he can't forgive him for what he did.
"I think I could pretty much forgive anyone else. But I don't see why I'd want to forgive him," he said. "This is a guy who did something so crazy and terminal. Why should I bless him with forgiveness?"
Speaking of Yoko Ono, who was famously the cause of unrest within The Beatles when she married the 'Imagine' singer, Paul said he decided against hanging on to a grudge that he "never really had".
He explained: "I thought, 'If John loved her, there's got to be something. He's not stupid'. It's like, what are you going to do? Are you going to hold a grudge you never really had?
"George [Harrison] would say to me, 'You don't want stuff like that hanging around in your life'."
Paul McCartney was seen on The Graham Norton Show last week alongside Katy Perry, James Cordon, Natalie Portman and Chris Hemsworth, during which he said that his legendary band were often beaten in talent competitions before they were famous by a woman who played the spoons.
