More signs hint that Paul McCartney will perform this summer
A major concert announcement is coming Monday morning from Miller Park.
Speculation
has been swirling for days that Paul McCartney will be coming to
Milwaukee this summer. McCartney played County Stadium back in 1993.
Miller Park has hosted concerts
over the years, including Bruce Springsteen and Bon Jovi. The stadium
also hosted Farm Aid's 25th anniversary concert three years ago.
Adding
to the speculation McCartney is coming to Milwaukee, WISNews
cameras captured an electronic billboard in Milwaukee over I-94 near
25th Street. It shows the silhouette of somebody with a guitar, arms
raised in the air, with the words "Out There." That's the name of
McCartney's upcoming tour.
The billboard looks a lot like the image from McCartney's website.
The annoucement is made. It is scheduled for 10 a.m.
