A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE BEATLES

1961  The Beatles perform at the Cavern Club at lunchtime, and that night they appear at Hambleton Hall, Huyton, Liverpool.
 1962  The Beatles perform at the Cavern Club -- a night show.
 1963  The Beatles, on tour with Chris Montez and Tommy Roe, perform at the ABC Cinema, Romford, Essex. Also appearing on the tour are the Terry Young Six, Debbie Lee, and The Viscounts.
 1964  UK release of Beatles single "Can't Buy Me Love/You Can't Do That" (Parlophone). 9 weeks on the charts; highest position #1.
 1964  Filming for "A Hard Day's Night" goes on at Twickenham Film Studios: more "corridor scenes".
 1964  The Beatles appear live on the UK television program "Ready Steady Go!".  They lip-sync to "It Won't Be Long", "You Can't Do That", and "Can't Buy Me Love". They also gave an interview, took part in a humorous fashion parade, and received a special award from the US trade magazine "Billboard", in recognition of The Beatles having the top three singles on the chart simultaneously. The Beatles' appearance is included on a 1984 videocassette release, "Ready, Steady, Go! Volume 1".
 1965  "Eight Days a Week" is the #1 single in the US for the second week in a row.
 1965  Final day of shooting in Austria for The Beatles' second movie "HELP!" Filming the "Ticket to Ride" segment.
 1967  The Beatles in the recording studio (Studio Two, EMI Studios, London). Overdubbing The Beatles' vocals onto the pre-recorded orchestral track of "She's Leaving Home". The song is finished. 1969: Married: John and Yoko Ono in Gibraltar. 
 
1995  US release of Beatles single "Baby It's You/I'll Follow the Sun/Devil in Her Heart/Boys" (Capitol).
