A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE BEATLES (FEBRUARY 27th)




1962  The Beatles perform at the Cavern Club - a lunchtime show.
1963  The Beatles, on the Helen Shapiro tour, perform at the Rialto Theatre, Fishergate, York, Yorkshire.
Helen Shapiro, suffering from a bad cold, is too ill to perform for the second day in a row.
1964  The Beatles in the recording studio (Studio Two, EMI Studios, London). After two more takes, 
"And I Love Her" is satisfactorily completed. Two other songs are started and finished: "Tell Me Why"
(8 takes) and "If I Fell" (15 takes).
1965  The Beatles in the Bahamas for the filming of their second movie, "Eight Arms to Hold You", which

 is later re-titled "HELP!" Shooting takes place on Balmoral Island, including the
 "Another Girl" sequence.
