The McCartney clan have already
conquered the worlds of music and fashion, and now one of their own is
set take on the film industry.
Sir
Paul and daughters Stella and Mary turned out to support the latter's
husband Simon Aboud for the UK premiere of his directorial debut, Comes A
Bright Day.
The family proudly posed for pictures at the screening, held at the Curzon Mayfair cinema.
All in the family: Sir Paul and Mary McCartney
turned out to see her husband Simon Aboud's film premiere for Comes A
Bright Day in London tonight
Mary, beaming by her husband's side, looked lovely in a yellow and black lace dress.
Sister Stella went simple in a tailored black suit.
The thriller, which made its
worldwide debut at the Berlin Film Festival in February, centres on a
jewellery heist that goes terribly wrong.
Aboud directed and wrote the film, which stars Submarine actor Craig Roberts, Timothy Spall and Imogen Poots.
Big night: Aboud makes his directorial debut with the thriller, which he also wrote
Rising
star Roberts takes the lead role as Sam, a hotel worker who falls for a
beautiful employee at one of London's most exclusive jewellery stores.
Disaster strikes when they find themselves taken as hostages in an armed robbery that goes wrong.
Aboud, who started out in advertising,
told Interview magazine earlier this year that it has taken him 46 years
to do what he's always wanted to do - make films.
Discussing
his cast, he revealed: 'Imogen was in a list, if I had to write a list
of all the girls, all the women that I wanted to play Mary, she was
pretty much top of that list.
'Craig
came for a reading and just killed it; I hadn't seen Submarine. A
minute in, it was like, "That's him." He's fantastic. The thing about
Craig is, and I'm not even sure Craig gets it, he just has this amazing
ability when the cameras on.'
Comes A Bright Day is released on July 13.
