Ringo has announced on his official website that he has donated a
pair of his glasses to Sight Savers #SpecsAppeal to help people with
blindness and disability. Bidding starts on eBay this Friday and runs
for 10 days. Other celebs who have donated glasses include Daniel
Radcliffe, Stephen Fry, Kate Moss, will.i.am and Meryl Streep.
