There has been a real revival in the demand for vinyl records, as enthusiasts keen to acquire records from the 1960s and 70s are pushing values up to unprecedented levels.
One man’s lifetime collection of vinyl records came under the hammer at Plymouth Auction Rooms this week.

The Plymouth gent sat in the audience and was amazed at the bidding from collectors in the room and internet bidders for his collection of Beatles, Rolling Stones and Queen albums that raised an impressive £5,800.
The collectors’ auctions in Plymouth always turn up a few surprises and this sale was no exception.
