YOKO ONO "HOME AND RECOVERING" AFTER BEING RELEASED FROM HOSPITAL

It has been confirmed that Yoko Ono is back home after being hospitalised last week (February 26).
Yoko Ono had been admitted to a New York hospital on the advice of her doctor after suffering with "flu-like symptoms". It had initially been reported that the 83-year-old Ono had suffered a stroke, but these claims were later denied. Ono's son Sean Lennon also described his mother as being "fine" after suffering from "dehydration" and tiredness.
Now Sean has confirmed that Yoko Ono has been discharged from hospital, writing on Twitter: "Thanks again for everyone's concern. She's home and running about as usual. Just the flu in the end. I may go get a flu shot now". See the tweet below. Ono's spokesman Elliot Mintz told that she was currently "recovering" after a bout of the flu.

Earlier this month, Ono received the NME Inspiration Award at the NME Awards 2016 with Austin, Texas on the eve of her 83rd birthday.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ono told that she never wants to retire from music. She said: "I won't stop. No, I never think that. Artists are obsessive, they want to keep doing it."
