The artist, musician and photographer reveals how he chose the stage name 'McGear' when attempting to escape his brother Paul's notoriety in the 1960s.
As the two big words in Liverpool at the time were "gear" and "fab", Mike says he nearly ended up calling himself 'Mike McFab' instead.
