A new Kanye West song featuring Paul McCartney hit the web.
An ode to daughter North West from the perspective of his late mother
Donda West, Kanye sings, "I know it's not the end every time I see her
face," with Auto-Tuned vocals over smooth organ playing.
Not much is known about the song "Only One." It's not certain if the
track will apear on West's upcoming album and we're not sure how
McCartney is involved with track. One is to assume that the Beatle is
playing the piano.
Last year, McCartney revealed his
plans to recruit a rapper like "Jay Z [or] Kanye" for his a song on his
latest album. "[I] resisted the temptation," McCartney said.
Paul also admitted to trying out Auto-Tune after he "went to see Kanye". "[I thought,] 'You know what? That'd be fun.'"
According to a press release, "Only One" is just the first song in a series of collaborations between West and McCartney.
"It
will be the first publicly available recording from what has become a
prolific musical collaboration between these two legendary artists.
In early 2014, Paul McCartney and Kanye West first began working together in a small bungalow in Los Angeles."

"The
process that would result in 'Only One' began with a simple
brainstorming session between the two: With McCartney improvising on the
keyboards and Kanye vocally sketching and shaping ideas in a
stream-of-consciousness riff."
