Beatlemania will rock Halifax as
celebrations for the 50th anniversary of the 1964 tour begins with a
themed afternoon tea at Holdsworth House - the hotel the band stayed at
after during their tour.
The Charity Dreamgirls, a charity that raise awareness
and funds for lesser known charities, are holding a Beatles-themed
afternoon tea with live music, VIP treatment and a bit of music history
in the surroundings of the historic hotel on October 21.
The
event, that will run from 2pm to 6pm, gives die hard fans a chance to
visit the rooms where the band stayed and even take a selfie on the bed
that Paul McCartney stayed on.
Savory and sweet food will be
available as well as hot beverages, which can be complimented with full
bar services and cocktails.
Charity Dreamgirls is supporting
shelter charities for the next 12 months and there will be auctions and
raffles on the day to raise funds. Tickets are available at
www.eventbrite.co.uk. Admission is £25 and includes a goody bag.
