Signs are up downtown welcoming Paul to San Diego. Sunday will be his first public show since 1976.
Their music still lives on. Even younger Beatles fans like Jorge Hernandez is thrilled Paul McCartney is in town.
"My dad's really into music. I grew up listening to a lot of the Beatles," he said.
On Sunday, he'll be among the thousands enjoying the concert at Petco Park.

sold-out show expected to draw in fans from all over the world.
