STELLA AND CHRIS MARTIN: TEAM UP FOR ICE BUCKET CHALLENGE

A sky full of water! Chris Martin and Stella McCartney join forces to accept Gwyneth Paltrow's ice bucket challenge nominationHe was nominated by his estranged wife, Gwyneth Paltrow on Thursday.

And Chris Martin has finally stepped up to the ALS ice bucket challenge alongside fashion designer Stella McCartney, who also received a nomination from Gwyneth.

The Coldplay frontman and the British designer chose to have fun before they were soaked in ice cold water as the pair pretended they weren’t going to take part in the challenge.

Sporting his usual casual attire, Chris could be seen holding a large umbrella above his head as he said: ‘We’ve been nominated to do the ice bucket challenge.

Stella then replied: ‘I’m a fashion designer. I am not going to get wet.’






Chris then began to lower his umbrella as he responded: ‘Okay then, we just won’t do it.’

The pair were instantly doused with freezing cold water, which was poured on them by someone out of the shot on the balcony above.

Running up to the camera, Chris said: ‘We’d like to nominate Bono, Sir Paul McCartney… and who was the other one?’

Stella then squealed: ‘And Angelina Jolie.’

The video was first uploaded onto the official Coldplay facebook page with a message from Chris which read, ‘I was nominated by Gwyneth Paltrow and Shakira to do the‪#‎ALSIceBucketChallenge‬ (please donate to The ALS Association athttp://www.alsa.org/donate/). CM’

Meanwhile, Stella added her own message when sharing the video on her Instagram page as she wrote: ‘My ice bucket challenge with Chris Martin to support ALS thanks to Gwyneth!
