SUCCESSFUL MEDICAL TREATMENT AFTER HOSPITALISATION

Paul receives 'successful medical treatment' after hospitalisation.

Paul is reportedly set to make a 'complete recovery'.
Paul was hospitalised after contracting a virus (norovirus) that led to the postponement of a number of Asian tour dates.

Representatives released a statement saying that Paul was admitted to a hospital in Tokyo where he received "successful medical treatment".

The statement read: "Since contracting a virus last week that led to the postponement of tour dates, Paul received successful medical treatment at a hospital in Tokyo. He will make a complete recovery and has been ordered to take a few days rest. Paul has been extremely moved by all the messages and well wishes he has received from fans all over the world."

McCartney's next scheduled gigs are a 19-date US tour beginning in June.
