PAUL VISIT ‘SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE"’

As you’ll see from the video above, Dylan and Bowie were present in spirit only, ably channeled by future ‘Tonight Show’ host Fallon, who’s proven himself quite capable of delivering impressive and funny impressionsof many rock stars in the past.

At first it looked like McCartney would be a no-show as well, but partway through the proceedings the former Beatle arrived, setting off the four-millionth or so audience screaming frenzy of his career. After being the unintended victim of a ‘Chipmunks’ microphone joke, he politely turned down the opportunity to record a holiday album with Fallon during an otherwise joke-free duet of ‘Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.’
Barry Gibb of the Bee Gees also turned up alongside Madonna for a ‘Barry Gibb Talk Show’ skit, a popular sketch Fallon and the evening’s musical guest, Justin Timberlake, have been doing for years.
