MAY PANG: "MAYBE ITS TIME TO SHARE GOOD KARMA OF JOHN'S

After John Lennon separated from Yoko Ono in mid-1973, he began a nearly two-year relationship with May Pang, who was his personal assistant and production coordinator.
John and May were together until 1975, and during their time together they lived in both New York City and here in Los Angeles.
May Pang later produced two books about their relationship, a memoir called "Loving John" and a book of photographs called "Instamatic Karma."

Now she's auctioning off a few of the items she collected.
Among them:
  • Swan Glasses  -- a pair of 1970s-style aviator prescription sunglasses with black plastic frames and dark amber-tinted lenses that Lennon wore in New York and Los Angeles during what rock historians dubbed his "lost weekend."
  • Ringo Starr "Power Ring" - Nancy Lee Andrews commissioned the ring for her then-fiancé, Ringo Starr. The power ring is most prominently displayed on the cover of Starr's 1977 album ‘Ringo The 4th' as well as many other publicity and personal photos.
  • A signed and framed artist proof print of the historic moment John Lennon officially dissolved The Beatles.
The auction is online at Mecum Auctions.
