On October 5th 2012 music lovers from all over the world will come
together in Liverpool for a mass participation World Record breaking
attempt that will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the release of The
Beatles debut single ‘Love Me Do’.
Organised by the City of Liverpool in conjunction with the
award-winning Beatles Story attraction, this unmissable experience is
set to take place at The Cruise Liner Terminal, Princes Dock, Liverpool.
With less than a month to go, event organisers have confirmed that
934 members of Liverpool’s combined choirs have confirmed their
attendance on the day - including the world famous Liverpool Signing
Choir fresh from their show-stopping performance at The London 2012
Olympic Games Closing Ceremony.
Organisers have also revealed timings for the day’s record attempt:
- 10.00am - Arrival
- 10.30am - Rehearsal
- 11.30am - Break
- 11.50am - Record attempt
