Al Jazeera English series will begin with an in-depth interview with the former Beatle on November 9
Veteran interrogator David Frost is returning to what has
been described as ‘Nixon-style’ in-depth interviews for the TV channel
Al Jazeera English.
First up for Sir David is musical knight Paul McCartney to be
followed by Archbishop Desmond Tutu. 73-year-old Frost says of the
60-minute episodes: “The longer conversation not just allows us to go
into more depth, but relaxes interviewees to talk more about their life
and work."
The series is due to start on November 9.
Frost, who has worked for Al Jazeera English since its launch in
2006, is busy in other areas, too. His production company David Paradine
Productions is overseeing a remake of the wartime classic The
Dambusters, which will be directed by Peter Jackson.
