The Cranford Public Library is pleased to host Judith Kristen, author of the recently published A Date with a Beatle, on Wednesday, March 21, at 7:30 p.m. in the Cranford Community Center. The Community Center is located at 221 Walnut Avenue.
A Date with a Beatle is a charming look back at the glory days of Beatlemania, as seen through the eyes of a loyal, devoted, and very persistent fan, who eventually managed to meet her idol, George Harrison. Ms. Kristen was born in Atlantic City and raised in Northeast Philadelphia. She is a popular children's book author, an animal rescuer, and an international humane education teacher. Her recent trip to London and Liverpool to introduce A Date with a Beatle was such a success that she has been invited back to England and to central Europe for a nine country summer tour in 2012. A Date with a Beatle has been translated into German and will also be released in Spanish.
