"As always, soundcheck was vey entertaining.Notes from inside:Paul dedicated Sn Francisco Blues to his long time employee and person in charge of Vip´s Shelley Lazar. Toward th end of soundcheck Paul read signs in the audience and decided to bring several of them on stage. Not sure what the fist one said but they brought two young kids up the stage. The second person´s sign read "heal my broken leg...sign my cast" and the third one was my buddy Keri who´s son held up, "please hug my mom".Paul posed for pictures with the two young kids and then he signed the cast and gave Keri a nice hug. At the end of soundcheck my books were delivered to Paul and Band".

SHOW :

"Paul and band brought the heat with Friday night's show. Putting back in many of the rockers that were taken out for the HP show. In commenting about the HP crowd during Ob-la-di Ob-la-da, he stated that he asked the crowd to sign the chorus and when it came time to sing, nobody did so he said tonight you will do better!!! Special guests in the audience were Yoko & Sean Lennon, Olivia Harrison, George and Giles Martin and Neil Sedaka. Who were all mentioned by Paul in welcoming and saying what a big night it was. Again he made comment of Las Vegas being called "Lost Wages". Junior's Farm was back into the set and with the other rockers back in the set, this show really had a nice flow to it. As a side funny note..while backstage, security stopped Sean Lennon for not having the proper credentials. As the security guard continued to refuse entry, my friend told him that it was Sean Lennon and if he didn't have the right credentials than nobody would. The guard realized his snafu and let him through eventually. Paul was in great form being very interactive with the crowd, a lot of smiling and fooling around on stage. Very playful mood tonight. During Give Peace a Chance, plenty of screen shots of Yoko, Olivia and Sean singing along! Word was that concert would start on time as Paul had a flight to Liverpool following the show. Everyone one around me left very happy! "
