Ringo Starr Preps European Tour; Says Paul McCartney & George Harrison Wouldn't Join All Starr Band
Ringo Starr and his All Starr Band will kick off a 28-date European tour in Kiev, Ukraine on June 4th. Speaking to reporters during a press conference Wednesday, which was broadcast online on Muzu.tv, Starr said it was an easy decision to tour Europe with the same All Starr Band he hit the road with last year -- a lineup that includes keyboardist and vocalist Edgar
Winter, “Dream Weaver” singer Gary Wright, guitaristRick Derringer, and Richard Page of ‘80s group Mr. Mister.
Starr said, "I toured with the same band in America last year. It's a great band, a lot of great musicians, great songs. We were approached, 'Would you like to do Europe?' So, why not?"
