RINGO TO PERFORM LIVERPOOL SHOW

Ringo Starr is to return to Liverpool for a performance later this year.

It will be the first time the Beatle will play the city since the controversial comments he made about his hometown on Friday Night with Jonathan Ross back in 2008.

He was the headline performer at Liverpool's European Capital of Culture concert, but just days after he claimed that he "missed nothing" about the city, stirring anger amongst council leaders and tourism chiefs.
