The International Peace Garden is open to the public in the new Saffrin Public Square.

The garden features a "Peace & Love" sculpture inspired by Ringo Starr. 

 

The sculpture is of a hand giving the peace sign and is one of three in the world approved by the legendary musician. "It's our commitment to peace. It's a small thing, it's a garden, that's true.But let's hope that there's more momentum all around the world to be committed to peace," says Daemen University President Gary Olson.
