It was the second of two nights at the venue, the other taking place on Saturday 8 June.
McCartney’s band was Paul ‘Wix’ Wickens (vocals, keyboards, guitar, percussion, harmonica), Brian Ray (vocals, guitar, bass), Rusty Anderson (vocals, guitar) and Abe Laboriel Jr (vocals, drums).

- The day after he performed a private concert for Hewlett-Packard at the MGM Grand Garden in Las Vegas,Paul performed a second concert at the venue.
In the audience were special guests including Sir George Martin, Yoko Ono, Sean Ono Lennon, Olivia Harrison and Neil Sedaka. - 2007: Yoko Ono appears on the BBC’s Desert Island Disc.Yoko Ono‘s appearance on the long-running BBC radio series Desert Island Discs was first broadcast on this day.
Ono was interviewed by the show’s host, Kirsty Young, and chose the eight records, luxury item and book she would take if stranded as a castaway on a desert island.

John Lennon spent this session, which took place from 2.30-5.45pm, assembling sound effects for Revolution 9.
Lennon spent the next few days working on effects and tape loops, which were mostly assembled into a master reel on 20 June 1968. For this he worked largely just in the company of his girlfriend Yoko Ono, although he was joined on the 20th by George Harrison.
